Hotel Room Accommadations for Upcoming Reunion

Wayne Dennis says that classmates can reserve rooms at the Belmont Inn in Galesburg at a discount. The rate was $125 plus tax per night but is now $91 plus tax. When reserving a room(s), please tell the receptionist that you're a member of the GHS Class of '57 to secure the discount.

The Budget

I've just recently added two more months, Janurary 24, 1957 and February 7, 1957, to "The Budget" link. More second semester editions will be added shortly.

You Still Have Time!

If you have not already done it, it's not too late to purchase a memorial brick to be placed outside of our class picnic shelter at Lake Storey. Many classmates have already done it. How about you? You can have one for yourself or/and one in memory of a loved one. The cost is $100 for bronze, $200 for silver, $500 for gold and more than $500 for platinum.

Send the fee to Wayne Dennis by mail to 1671 Summit Street, Galesburg, IL 61401, or by money order. If you have questions, contact him by cell phone at (309) 335-3036 or by email at

You can now use the special price of $50 to purchase a brick for your husband or wife or in memory of a classmate.

The reunion booklet and pictues can be found at the Post 60th Reunion Information link listed on the left side of this page.

Our Website Emails

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address (that's a .net, not a .com).

What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address

Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address when sending out email messages. Be assured that all emails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email. Whitelisting is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving your emails from your fellow Classmates.

Stop and take a moment to whitelist right now, and ensure you stay connected!
